About the Workshop:
MULTIPLATFORM MEDIA; A 360 VIEW OF CONTENT CREATION
One size does NOT fit all. The media landscape has never been more crowded and the noise level louder. The reality of today’s competition requires distributing content across many platforms. That necessitates various approaches to the development and creation of content. This session focuses on how to extend the reach of your programming, maximizing the use of Over The Air (OTA) to magnify your various platforms, and the way forward in the near future.
WORST TO FIRST; The Z100 STORY AND LESSONS TO LEARN
The launch of WHTZ (Z100) in New York was historic as the station grew in the ratings from worst to first over the course of the fall 1983 survey period. The backstory, the documentary, and the approach of the station, provides many lessons that are applicable nearly 44 years later. This session is a tutorial that can benefit radio versus todays crowded media field. This session is a companion piece to understanding content creation across many platforms.
